Encouragement Stories
A few years ago when we started this ministry, most people didn’t understand what we were trying to do. They didn’t understand the need.
Missionaries left for the Field because they were called to go “over there.” The rest of us “over here” were excited for them – but didn’t know there was a role for us to fill.
As we continue to pray for a movement of Missionary Care, we are encouraged to hear of os many who are interested. Hearts are being stirred to know a Missionary, serve a Missionary, and find the right ways to encourage a specific Missionary.
Two old adages are being addressed:
1. Out of sight — out of mind:

Staying in touch with specific Missionaries keeps them in sight on on your mind
2. What’s everybody’s business — is nobody’s business:

Becoming an Advocate for a specific Missionary becomes personal — you make it your business to find ways to encourage and care.
There’s still lots to be done.
